Develop and continuously improve processes for verifying and reconciling Road feeder service billing. Coordinate with the Polar Air Cargo Worldwide Revenue Accounting group to ensure invoices are expedited in a timely manner. 


  • Responsible for the developing and implementation of continuous improvement processes for calculating and collecting revenue for transit operations, included, but not limited to:
    • Detention fees.
    • Hazmat fees.
    • Regional station surcharge fees.
    • Any other additional accessorial fees reported by the vendors and stations.
  • Instructing vendors on how to follow the process related to truck billing.
  • Monitors procedures and services that will ensure all truck billing is accurate and paid in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the overall invoicing.
  • Responsible for analyzing and reconciling billing processes using Descartes application.
  • Act as the primary point of contact on the communication for billing questions from both Carriers and internal departments. Ensuring that each vendor account is fully balanced, and maintaining a good relationship with their teams to do so.
  • Create and implement reports to show RFS functionality and efficiency as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Cargo handling experience is a plus.



  • Ability to understand and use Microsoft office software, specifically in data base, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and work with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Highly organized individual with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness, who wants to learn and grow.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to participate with different groups on projects from concept to completion in a fast paced, time critical environment.
  • Travel for this position is minimal, one to two times annually.
