Overview

Analyzes current Flight Operations processes and provides automated solutions to improve processes and user experience within the digital channels. Collaborates with team members to develop quality, sustainable process solutions, while taking ownership of all Power Platform and SharePoint related functions. Responsible for all aspects of implementing automation solutions from requirements gathering and process documentation to developing, testing, and deploying solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and Development (40%)

 

  • Embed in a wide variety of Flight Operations roles to understand processes, front-line user experiences and assess business needs.
  • Propose process design changes, automations and workflows, transforming processes into technical requirements for Power Platform solutions.
  • Develop solutions utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure logic apps and functions.
  • Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, knowledge sharing, and user experience.

 

Implementation (25%)

 

  • Create and manage data connections.
  • Provide technical support for the maintenance and upgrade of applications.
  • Test application performance and functionality; perform quality assurance checks and fix bugs accordingly.

Collaboration and Support (25%)

 

  • Collaborate with team leaders, functional clients, and other technical teams on the planning, implementation, and support of new applications; ensure optimum functionality, performance, accessibility, scalability, and security of new and existing applications.
  • Identify areas and processes where Teams, Power Platform and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
  • Support Flight Operations senior leadership requests for specific analysis targets and special projects, as assigned

 

 Documentation and Training (10%)

 

  • Document application development efforts (changes, new functionality, issue/problem resolution).
  • Provide systems training and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Power Platform and other application tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline
  • 1+ years demonstrated experience using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Competent with MS SQL or other database language
  • 1+ year of SharePoint experience preferred
  • 1+ year of Dataverse experience preferred
  • Tableau proficiency is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and organized

 

 

 

Salary Range: $51,500- $69,000

 

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
