Overview

Supports the operational needs of the dispatch team by managing administrative tasks, coordination support to the flight dispatch department, ensuring smooth daily operations through accurate documentation, communication, and record-keeping. This role also supports the training function by maintaining and organizing training records and materials This role does not require a dispatch license.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the dispatchers’ schedule in accordance with the provisions of FAR Part 121 and CBA.
  • Preplan the dispatchers daily shift schedule for the Lead Dispatchers.
  • Administer payroll for the dispatchers.
  • Assist Dispatch management with creation of Read Files and Bulletins to the manual system.
  • Assist Dispatch management with the creation of an ERC newsletter as part of the Dispatch ASAP SMS process.
  • Assist in Dispatch training records audit/maintenance.
  • Assist Dispatch management with EWINS program forecast validations.
  • Assists in development, implementation, and maintenance of Flight Dispatch and Flight Operations technology.
  • Monitors systematic departmental problems and recommends corrective policies and procedures to Dispatch management.
  • Assist departmental leadership in researching new areas of operations, changes to procedures or technology.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by Dispatch Management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate good communication, negotiation, analytical, project/program management, problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to handle complex human relation problems.
  • High initiative, results oriented with strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be highly organized, focused and able to multi-task and prioritize tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and gain cooperation among competing interest groups.
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Must be a team player.

 

Pay Range: $43,000 - $58,000

 

 

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
