Overview

The Lead Training Records Administrator provides oversight to the day to day operations of the Training Records department. Supervises, organizes and monitors work productivity and work processes. Responsible for the overall audit of all crewmember training forms/records to ensure Atlas and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) compliance.  The Lead Training Records Administrator maintains all crewmember qualification in the Airline Information Management System (AIMS) computer system.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of department workflows to ensure the quality and effectiveness of procedures used in Training Records.
  • Supervise the day-to-day office duties and responsibilities for the Training Records department
  • Supervises annual audits and conducts periodic audits of crew training records to ensure all required documentation and data is in compliance
  • Maintains, tracks, and provides reporting for FAA required audits and surveillance as it pertains to Training Records or Training Scheduling (ex: Special Tracking)
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with required crew training or upcoming events
  • Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures and employee training for Training Records and Training Scheduling departments
  • Recommends improvements to procedures and methods, which would improve the quality and efficiency of the department
  • Partners with the AIMS Administrator to enhance system functionality of the training module within the crew management software application in order to maintain compliance and increase efficiencies
  • Generates crewmember training reports
  • Facilitates training of new employees and contractors to ensure consistency in processes and department procedures.
  • Maintains and reviews all flight crew training records to ensure compliance with applicable FAA regulations
  • Provides crew scheduling flight crew data that determines if a crewmember is qualified and current to perform assigned duties
  • Audits periodically crew training records to ensure all required documentation and data is in the appropriate training folder and is current
  • Notifies flight crewmembers of any discrepancies or omissions in their training file
  • Notifies flight crewmembers when a required document is near expiration to ensure currency is maintained
  • Responsible for the audit and entry of all Check Airmen and Instructor records
  • Inputs pilot training records and certificates for the pilot record in AIMS computer software
  • Enters training records for pilot special airport training requirements
  • Collect and maintain all documents for permanent records and tracking upon completion of training program
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), crewmember contracts, training manuals and Company policies and procedures.  

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive airline training records or related experience
  • At least a High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations as they pertain to Crewmember training records and regulations

Special Demands:

  • Evening and weekend shifts may be required

  • Ability to handle multiple duties and priorities on a daily basis; ability to function effectively under deadlines and still maintain accuracy; able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be a self-starter and solution oriented
  • Demonstrated leadership performance accomplishments in a planning and/or administration capacity is a plus.
  • Must possess the personal integrity and administrative skills to gain the confidence of the crewmember work force.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills; high level of attention to detail; outstanding organizational skills

 

 

Salary Range: $52,500 - $71,000

 

 

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
