Overview

The Maintenance Training Administrator ensures accurate and compliant training records for company personnel and contract maintenance providers. Responsibilities include maintaining databases, verifying FAA certifications, reviewing training records, scheduling training, and coordinating contract training. The role supports regulatory audits, communicates training requirements, and develops SOPs while adhering to company policies and GMM requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that accurate, timely and reliable training records are maintained for company personnel and approved contract maintenance providers.
  • Ensures that the database is accurately maintained.
  • Verifies FAA Mechanic Certificates are valid for those exercising the privilege of their FAA Mechanic Certificate A&P ratings.
  • Reviews and evaluates training records provided by newly hired personnel and accepts or rejects previous training based upon company policy and GMM requirements.
  • Notify all applicable departments of certification, including name changes, rating additions, changes to the certificate number, or surrender, suspension, or revocation of their certificate when notification is received by company personnel or approved contract maintenance provider.
  • Monitor training requirements as loaded in the database to ensure alignment with company policy and GMM requirements.
  • Assist with scheduling training sessions within individual training programs ensuring facility setup, attendee, and maintenance provider notification.
  • Coordinates contract training for company personnel and/or Approved Contract Maintenance Providers.
  • Develop and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for related tasks.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures including GMM.
  • Efficiently uploads schedules, classes, calendars, company personnel and approved contract maintenance providers data into the database.
  • Communicates with attendees, instructors, company personnel and approved contract maintenance providers about training requirements and programs.
  • Support company and regulatory audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or 2-4 years’ equivalent experience.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
  • 2–4 years of executive administrative or training coordination experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) or training record management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Smartsheet and Adobe applications.
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation maintenance training programs.
  • Project management experience.
  • Prior experience in airline or MRO training operations.
  • Experience using databases such as TRAX and Pelesys.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance processes and terminology.

Work Environment:

Office and training facility environment.

Salary Range: $49,000- $70,000

 

 

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
